Doug sharp, P. Eng, ALS, MBA
CEO
Doug Sharp is CORE’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, who completed his undergraduate at the University of Calgary. In addition, Doug completed his MBA in 2010 at the University of Calgary. With over 25 years of experience handling upstream and midstream projects in Western Canada, he has brought his expertise and visionary mindset to building the company.
According to Doug, his success in the industry can be attributed to his lasting commitment to providing more value to his employees and customers. This extra dedication is echoed in CORE’s founding values, which make the company stand out from the others.
Jeremy Park, P. Eng, ALS, SLS, BCLS, MBA
President/Construction Geomatics Lead
Jeremy Park is the co-founder, President, and Construction Geomatics Lead at CORE. Like Doug, he’s also an alumnus of the University of Calgary, having completed his undergraduate degree there. Jeremy also completed his MBA in 2016 at the University of Calgary. With over 16 years of experience in the office and field, he has worked on various projects in his career.
Jeremy is highly passionate about skills, training, and strategy, so he strongly emphasizes this in the CORE.
Corey Wick, MBA
Vice President/Energy Geomatics Lead
Corey Wick is also a co-founder at CORE and is the Vice President and Energy Geomatics Lead. He completed his MBA at the University of Calgary and started his career in an oil company, where he learned more about the industry’s inner workings. From there, he went on to do other work like project management and marketing to refine his problem-solving skills.
With more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, Corey has brought the importance of relationship-building to the CORE. Hence, we highly value forging relationships based on trust and respect in the company.
Mark Cross, RPF
Environmental Lead
Mark joined CORE in 2016 and brought with him over 18 years of experience in environmental planning, regulatory applications, and stakeholder engagement. Given his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Alberta, he has been instrumental in building our Environmental Division, taking up the role of Environmental Lead at CORE.
Scott Colvin, P. Eng, SLS, CLS
Municipal Lead
Scott Colvin is CORE’s municipal lead, and he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary. He spent 13 years working in Sask and was commissioned in 2010. Given his strong work ethic, he leads on execution and oversees the operations of our projects.
